The accommodation is on the ground floor only. I live in small flat upstairs with own entrance.
The decoration is modern and tasteful and furnished in an eclectic style.
Accommodation consists of combined kitchen/ sitting/ dining room, hall, bathroom with W.C., basin and bath with over bath shower (bath mat supplied), large double bedroom with king-size bed and small twin bedroom. Sleeping 2-4 persons. It is possible for the double room to accommodate another bed/cot.
The kitchen is well equipped with dual fuel cooker, dishwasher and fridge freezer.
There are plenty of cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. Ecological cleaning materials are provided including washing up liquid. Tea towels and clothes, and oven gloves are provided. There is access to a washing machine on the premises by arrangement, an airer will be provided for drying along with washing line outside in garden.
The sitting/dining area has comfortable sofas by the wood burning stove and there is a dining table at the south facing window. The cottage has TV but poor reception; there is a DVD player, CD player and radio. There is no telephone but most mobile phone networks will have service.
The cottage is heated throughout by an electric boiler, and is fully double glazed and well insulated.
Beds are comfortable and supplied with pillows, duvets and 100% cotton bed linen. Extra blankets are also available. Both rooms have plenty wardrobe space and a chests of drawers.
A bath and hand towel is supplied per person (please bring your own beach towels)

The price per week including electricity, fuel for the fire, all bed linen & towels and ecological cleaning materials is £500.
A deposit of £100 is payable by cheque, to Michelle Cowe, please send to the above address, within one week of making a provisional booking, balance payable one month before arrival.
The cottage is located on a croft near Croig, in a fenced but plain garden,10 minutes drive from both Dervaig village, (with shop, post office, hotel with pub serving good food and fortnightly Sunday producers market in the village hall during summer months) and the white sands of Calgary Bay and The Carthouse Gallery Tel: 01688400256 www.calgary.co.uk serving teas, lunches and a good source of local arts and crafts.
There is a bus service 5 minutes walk from the cottage to Calgary and Tobermory. See www.mict.co.uk for timetable for buses, ferries and trains.
