Treatments
As of right now, I am more limited as to what types of massages I can perform due to me still being a student. I more so do Swedish/Relaxtion Massage but plan to offer several different modalities once I graduate and get more credits from different classes and programs.
What I offer:
Swedish Massage: The main goal of receiving a Swedish Massage is to relax your entire body. You use long gliding strokes going towards the heart during this type of massage. Swedish Massage increases oxygen levels, decreases toxins that are in the muscles and also increases circulation and flexibility throughout the entire body.
Sports Massage: This type of massage is geared toward athletes of all kinds. The sports massage techniques are geared toward what type of sports the client's are involved in. Sports massage has been proven to promote flexibility, reduces fatigue, improves endurance, helps prevent injuries and prepares the body for optimal performance. Another benefit of sports massage is that it is able to point out muscle tendon junctions. For people that are frequently active sports massage would be good to receive about every other week.
Deep Tissue Massage: Deep Tissue Massage is more beneficial for releasing chronic muscle tension. Your focus is on the deepest layer of the muscle, tissue and fascia to get at the deepest level of restriction.
