Whilst we want to make bookings as easy as possible the T&c'S are in place to protect both us and those booking also .
IMPORTANT HOLIDAY INFORMATION:STRICTLY NO SMOKING OR PETS
Please keep these T&Cs with you during your stay as they contain important information.
These Terms & Conditions are here to protect the rights of the Caravan Owner,Agent and all the Guests. Please read them very carefully, as you are entering into a legally binding agreement.
Before your Holiday:
YOU MUST NOT TRY TO SELL YOUR HOLIDAY TO SOMEONE ELSE – Only those named on the booking form will be allowed in the caravan. Breaking this condition will result in Eviction. Haven will have a copy of the form for passes so no one else is permitted as This puts both the hirer and owner at great risk !
This means that if you have to cancel you cannot sell the holiday to someone else.
IF YOU HAVE TO CANCEL YOUR HOLIDAY BOOKING – If you cannot pay the balance of the holiday, or you are unable to honour the booking for any reason whatsoever, then please contact the owner immediately. This will give them more chance to re-sell the dates and will save them having to keep chasing you. They may even be able to offer payment by instalments if you require help spreading the cost.
In the event that the owner has to cancel (not happened yet ) we will refund your fee in full and make all effort to find alternative similar accommodation for you in the area. There will be no other financial liability on the caravan owner other than refunding your fee.
Arriving at the Caravan:
PARKING : Tarmacced parking bay for one vehicle to the front/side of the caravan , The space next to it belongs to the neighbours van so please do not use this or obstruct it . In the event of guests having 2 cars unfortunately one will need to be parked on the car park (this is the downside to having an enclosed pitched area )
DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE THE STATED ARRIVAL TIME – You will be denied access. The arrival time is there to allow for cleaning and to ensure everything is ready for your stay.
CHECK THE CARAVAN WHEN YOU ARRIVE – If you find anything wrong please contact the owner immediately. This will protect you if things are found after you leave that you knew about.
If anything is damaged during your stay please contact the owner immediately so that they can arrange repair before the next guests.
Toys games should be assessed by yourselves for suitability to your childs age as we try to have a range for all ages , this said all parents have different perceptions so we rely on your discretion .
During your Holiday:
KEEP THE CARAVAN CLEAN & SECURE – You have a responsibility to leave the caravan as you first find it. Prior to your stay the caravan should have been thoroughly cleaned. Always ensure that doors and windows are locked when you are not in the caravan.
Whilst we want you to enjoy your stay and be comfortable we would appreciate no soiled or wet shoes on the carpeted areas , Soiled carpets will encounter a cleaning charge from the deposit paid .
NOISE : ALL guests should behave in an appropiate manner please , we are on a peaceful plot and get along with peple and wish to keep it that way , Havens rules apply to private lets as well as the guests booking with them .
USE OF GAS & ELECTRICITY – These are provided FREE FOR FAIR USE ONLY. In the event of excessive use of either Gas and/or Electricity you will face additional charges.
Take care when the weather is cold, not to keep heating on when unattended or when rooms have reached a comfortable temperature. Please avoid leaving the door open for long periods whilst the heating is on.
DO NOT WEAR STILETTO HEELS – on any areas of soft lino as this will damage it and you will be charged for the replacement costs
DO NOT FEED THE GULLS or other birds on the site – Feeding birds can be dangerous and creates extra mess on the site, which may be poisonous, it also causes nuisance and risks to other people on the caravan site.
Rubbish should be taken to the bins and not left outside please , the gulls will make a terrible mess with it .
WASHING OF VEHICLES IS NOT PERMITTED .
BANNED PRODUCTS:
- BARBECUES GAS OR DISPOSABLE OF ANY KIND ! This is a huge fire risk .
- --Scooters / bikes/skate boards on the decking or inside the van
- — LOOM BANDS and similar mass packaged small items
- — PLASTICINE/ Playdoh and other clry type products
- — BB GUNS and other weapon type items that could cause damage or injury
- -- Paints
- —FELT TIP PENS
DOGS ARE NOT PERMITTED AT ANY TIME DUE TO ALLERGY .
Guests are required to provide the correct information on the booking form. Failure to do so will render any agreement void. Only those on the booking form which Haven will be aware of are permitted to stay .
Beds all have mattress & pillow protectors on and cotton quilt cover protectors on the quilts . Sheets/duvet covers and pillowcases provided by yourselves must be used at all times .
YOU MUST CONTACT THE OWNER IMMEDIATELY IF:
- — If you have a problem with anything in the caravan.
- — If anything is Broken or Damaged during your stay, as the owner may be able to arrange repair or replacement during your stay. You may be charged for repairs or replacement.You must not try to repair things yourselves .
Beyond our control
- Site issues must be dealt with by the Site Office Staff, not the caravan owner. This may include resetting the Electric, for which you may be charged. please see welcome pack for locations of where things are .
- We cannot be held responsible for the weather , traffic ect although we sincerely hope you have lots of sunshine .
- Noise from caravans around , please contact security with any issues .
The End of your Holiday:
LEAVE THE CARAVAN CLEAN & SECURE – Prior to leaving the caravan please ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and back in place, that all kitchen surfaces and caravan tables have been wiped clean, bins have been emptied as instructed, the floors have been hoovered and left clear of mess.
Cleaning supplies are provided
The caravan should be left as you found it so that the cleaners don’t have to spend extra time and delay the next guests.
Do not steal any property from the caravan this is for everyone to use and enjoy or you will be charged and may face prosecution.
All doors and windows must be closed when you leave the caravan. Failure to do this risks the security of the caravan and the deposit may be withheld.
There is a check list by the door for you to refer to .
The owners/cleaners will take photographs of any mess or damage they find. Please respect their property.
DO NOT LEAVE LATER THAN THE STATED DEPARTURE TIME – You could be fined if you leave late as access is required by cleaners and the next guests may suffer delays in starting their holiday, for which they will expect compensation.
LEAVING THE CARAVAN BEFORE THE DEPARTURE DATE – If you leave the caravan before the departure date you will not be compensated unless this is due, in whole or in part, to the caravan owner being unable to provide the advertised holiday.
Damage to the caravan or its contents, or the requirement of additional cleaning due excess mess WILL result in loss of full or partial deposit and may result in small claims court action to recover additional charges and replacement costs.
The keys are your responsibility whilst on your holiday and you will be charged if these are lost as we will have to change the locks .
