On Friday morning there was an enormous amount of noise from the site. Several telephone calls later I found out they have been given permission to 'soft strip'! I questioned Richard Laws about this and apparently this is in preparation for demolition. This permission comes from the Health and Safetly Executive not the planning department. Enfield Council have not given permission for the demolition. It seems L&Q can find ways around everything. But we can too!
