THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT! What a tremendous success. We calculated there were nearly 500 people present and all had the opportunity to express their views. The Rt. Hon. Teresa Villiers MP offered her uneqivocal support, as did Cllrs Lavender (Enfield), and Tambourides and Rams (Barnet).  It is hoped that Cllr Lavender will take the strength of feeling back to Enfield Planning Department. The action to be taken, for the time being, is to continue writing the letters. I will be writing to Richard Laws, Chief Planning Officer today requesting I am kept fully informed of all developments and planning committee meetings in the future. Rest assured I will present our case strongly at every given opportunity. Keep checking the news page for up to date information.

Finally, thank you for your generosity last night. We raised over £700 for campaign funds which will enable us to undertake even more publicity. One thing I am keen to do is 'rent' the Cockfosters roundabout (apparently this can be done) and plaster it with NO placards.
