UPDATE 8 JUNE Apologies for not having updated sooner. at the last residents' meeting it was unanimously agreed to continue to gather evidence for a possible Judicial Review. In the meantime every possible effort is being made to raise the funds necessary for such a legal bid.
Currently 2 events are arranged:
SATURDAY 29 JUNE: Coffee morning and bring and buy sale at 33 Vernon Crescent from 10am-1pm.
SATURDAY 19 OCTOBER: Dinner/Dance at Hadley Wood Golf Club. 7 for 7.30. Celebrity auctioneer and fantastic raffle prizes donated by local businesses. For more information contact Kim.

AT THE RESIDENTS' MEETING ON 21 MARCH IT WAS UNANIMOUSLY AGREED TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THE DECISION. THE DOCUMENTS ARE CURRENTLY WITH OUR BARRISTER.

LABOUR COUNCILLORS VOTE TO APPROVE APPLICATION
Last night's decision was a farce. It was clear the Labour councillors had been told what to vote prior to the meeting. It was also clear they had not read the report by the childish questions asked. I am told by some residents they were also extremely rude after the decision, one saying "I dont need your vote". DISGUSTING
Where do we go from here? The answer is simple. Now we start lobbying the mayor. Even if you have already written to him, do so again, and again, and again. Everytime you think of another issue to raise, write. Bombard him with letters!
