In February we were advised that we have achieved Charitable Status.

This is great news as it means we will have access to more sources of funding both for events and for the Young Explorers Club.

On Saturday 21st we held a fundraising Quiz Night in the Whitefield Bowling Club.

Over 70 attended to have their brains tested by quizmaster: Rick Davidson. Congratulations to the joint winners 'The Tigers' and 'The Humpty Dumpties'.

Everyone had a good time (even those who didn't win either quiz prizes or raffle prizes!).

Thanks to everyone for contributing to such a successful night both by coming along and by donating raffles: we raised £337.43 and were given donations of £33
