League B

Buxton Blood Bowl League B got underway on Wednesday night with the first game taking place. James' Goblins (originally named The Gobbo's) just saw off Chris' Halflings (The Right Stuff) by the odd touchdown in 3. The Gobbo's came back from 1-0 down to equalise by halftime and then after the break they capitalised on knocking out Deeproot Strongbranch by bullying their way through the middle as Morg N' Thorg rushed away to put the Gobbo's 2-1. One last push from the Right Stuff saw Deeproot throw Puggy Baconbreath clear of the Gobbo's defence only for him to land flat on his face!! (allegedly!!!)

The second game saw Undead & High Elfs play out a 1-1 draw. Straight from kick off Undead wiped out 3 men and ko'd 3 before breezing past a weakened High Elf line to score with a Ghoul 1. After the break and High Elfs scored on 3rd team after a good throw by Lion Warrior 11 which was caught and converted by Lineman 4. Then they held out a final onslaught by the Undead which led to another Serious Injury and 3 knock outs. The very play saw Undead work a hole but unable to pick up the ball with no rerolls left.
