We are unhappy!
It makes us sad to see our lovely area like this
We are showing these photographs to highlight a problem that we feel can be sorted out. This is what we have to say about it:-
"Although most of the litter originates from Tescos, the fact that most of it ends up on our streets is due to to people, mainly youngsters, carelessly dropping it.
If NPT Council provided more bins in the area above Tescos store that would be a help, but ultimately, it is due to individuals acting responsibly.If they fined people, including teenagers, as it appears they are the ones who are mainly responsible for the litter problem, that may make people think twice about dropping litter."
Most youngsters are responsible young people - but a few can create a bad image for the whole lot.Rubbish attracts rubbish - let us stop it in the first place.
