Work with Local Schools

Members of Bryncoch Environment Group are pleased to announce that they will be working with pupils, parents and staff from the three local primary schools in Bryncoch and Waunceirch.  The work will include various activities such as tree planting, creating new ponds  and path clearing.  Money for these projects was donated by Mr Craig Wigley who has been a member of the Group since it was formed nearly five years ago.  Craig was awarded £1000 when he was such a successful landlord of the Bryncoch Inn.  Pictured below are the three schools receiving their cheques for £250 at the end of the summer term.  BEG looks forward to helping the pupils improve their school grounds, making their environment a better place for them and for wildlife.
