Terms of hire/ FAQ's...

 

1. How do I book?

2. How much notice do I need to give for a booking?

Bookings can be made at any time. Please book early to avoid disappointment. If you decide you want one of our services the last minute the latest time to contact us is 10am that morning.


3. When are your services available?

All of our services are available 7 days a week all year round, although in the colder month’s castles will only be hired indoors.


4. Do you do Indoor hire?

We do hire our inflatables and the candyfloss for indoor use. (face painting should be inside unless discussed upon booking)
For an inflatable, your chosen venue will need to have a minimum ceiling height of 9.5 ft or above for the 12x12 castles more room will be needed for the bigger castles, the venue also needs to have a 240 volts mains power supply for each piece of electrical equipment.


5.  How long do I get the equipment when hiring indoor or outdoors?

Our inflatables can be hired out with a minimum of 2 hours to a full day.
Candyfloss is normally hired out for an hour slot (which is enough to do roughly 50-60 flosses) but this can be increased by the hourly rate. 


6. Do you hire overnight? 

At the present time we do not hire over night.


7. How much does it cost?

Please contact us directly from one of the methods detailed on our ‘contact us’ page as prices may vary depending on your intended use i.e. home/business or location and services required as we can do package deals.

Please note that payment in full is required upon our arrival once the Hire agreement is filled in and signed.


8. What do the prices include? 

All inflatable booking prices include set up, inflation and collection.  You will also receive a blower, extension cable(s), pegs or sand bags, circuit breaker, safety crash mats and instructions in case of emergency.
The Candyfloss will be manned by a member of the Bounce N Paint team.

9. Do I have to pay a deposit? 

Deposits Depend on which inflatable is being booked and the time of year. Please contact us for details.


10. How do I pay?

• Cash On Delivery
• Cheques
Cheques will not be accepted on the day, cheque payments need to be received in sufficient time for funds to clear before the booking date.


11. What if I need to cancel?
 
You can cancel at anytime, all we ask is that you give us as much notice as possible. If no notice is given you may incur a cancellation fee.


12. What if it rains?

Most of our inflatables have built in shower covers. Unfortunately, if the rain is heavy and persistent the inflatables cannot be operated in wet conditions due to safety reasons.  However, there will be no cost to yourselves in the event of cancellation due to adverse weather. 

Nb. Inflatables will always be automatically cancelled in such adverse weather conditions.


13. What if it is windy? 

If it is windy, please take a look at the terms detailed above for ‘what if it rains’ 


14. Can the inflatable be set up on a slope?
 
You will need to discuss this prior to the booking. If it is a very slight slope it may be possible for an inflatable to be placed.


15. How long does it take to set up/inflate/deflate/pack? 

 

The inflatables take approx 15 minutes to set up and 20 minutes to pack up, times may vary depending on which size you hire.

The Candyfloss Takes 5 minutes to set up 10 minutes to warm up. and about 15 minutes to clear up as it needs to cool down.

Face painting takes 5 minutes to set up and around the same to pack up

 All times are extimated depending upon each circumstance. 

 

16. How much space is needed?

 

You will need to allow a minimum of 3 feet at the front and rear of castle and 2 feet either side this is to allow access and the blower at rear. Please make sure all garden items such as garden toys, swings, slides, patio furniture, rubbish, pet debris, etc. are removed from the area where the inflatable is to be sited.
Please make sure there is free and easy access for the delivery driver to to set up the inflatable, ie, pathway not obstructed by bins, etc. and wide enough to fit a trolley through.


17. When I hire the inflatable is there anything I need to provide?  

We supply all the hardware you will need for the inflatable, you will need to provide a 240 volts mains power supply.


18. Do you supply safety instructions?

Yes, we provide safety instructions with every hire you will find these in your copy of the Hire agreement which also includes instructions in what to do in case of an emergency.


19. Is there an age limit for children using the inflatable? 

Yes there is an age limit on our inflatables,
• Our infant inflatables/units are suitable for up to age 5.
• Childrens inflatables have an age limit of 12.
• Our adult inflatables are suitable for older children/adults.
