Throughout this year we've been hoping that the Covid-19 situation would allow us to hold our Summer Show in accordance with Scottish Government regulations and advice. Well, we've had to make some changes from our usual Show, but we’re now confident that we're able to hold a modified Show in a safe manner.
We've got a different venue with lots of space, and we'll have Covid mitigation measures in place. Unfortunately we can't provide our famous Cream Teas this year, and we're not able to run our Food and Preserves sections, but all our other classes will run (including our new Botanical Illustration class), and we're sure our exhibitors will rise to the challenge of making the Show as colourful and impressive as it always is. SECTION IX PHOTOGRAPHY AND ILLUSTRATION
This year, photography entries can be submitted as prints (not mounted, maximum size 127x178 mm), or electronically. If you want to submit electronically, send to bihs1955@gmail.com by Tuesday 10th August, putting your name and the class number in the filename, and we will print the photo and enter it in the Show. This will cost £1 per print (including 20p entry fee), which can be paid via the Paypal Donate button on the homepage of our website. There is no charge for entries to Class 107.
