Black Isle Horticultural Society

In spite of the difficulties resulting from the Covid pandemic, this year the Society has managed to hold both of our two main events, the spring fundraising Plant Sale and the Summer Show. Although they had to be significantly changed in various ways to ensure they were held in as safe a manner as possible, both events were successful and very much appreciated by the people who attended. Our 2021 AGM will be held online at 7:30pm on Tuesday 9th November. As well as electing office-bearers for the coming year, this meeting agrees the Schedule and arrangements for next year’s Show. We’re hoping we’ll be able to hold our Show in the normal way next year, and we’re thinking about a fairly significant overhaul of some aspects of the Schedule. If you’ve got views or suggestions about what should and shouldn’t be in the Show, or other aspects of the Society’s activities, this is your chance.
