HOW TO REALY AMAZE YOUR FRIENDS
B.J./s SHELL GAME FOR REAL
This is a gambling game where the punter has to guess which cup hides the pea out of a choice of three that have been shuffled around faster than the eye can follow. In this version the punter bets that your bird cant guess which is the correct cup.
For those of you who want to surprise & amaze your friends by moving the cups as fast as a New York street hustler,I'm afraid you will have to resort to cheating.
THE SECRET POINT ( aka, CHEATING).
I only explain the 'how too', of this cheat so you wont fall for it, there are a lot of dishonest people out there. Never cheat the same person twice, this gives them twice the opportunity to catch you out, unless your realy good.
(1) Sit at a table with your bird, 3 plastic egg cups, some small piece's of his favourite treat & a MUG of tea or coffee. Encourage your bird to play with & investigate the egg cups.
Lie the egg cups on their sides & drop a crumb treat so he has to push one cup out of way to get it. When he's familiar & comfortable with the egg cups.
Show him your hiding a treat under one of the upturned cups & tell him to, "FIND IT." Show him where it is by touching the top of the cup. with your little finger. To do this hold your mug as if about to drink, but with your little finger extended. Like posh people do, but keep it hidden out of sight under the mug. Raise the mug above the birds eyeline so the he can see which egg cup your pointing at & tap the treat egg cup with your hidden little finger or knock it over if he's a bit slow. Your aim is to get your bird to turn over the cup your pointing at to get his treat. Once he gets the idea, very gradually over the next few days, point to the cup from a little further away. As soon as he makes his move to turn over the right cup. Curl your little finger still hidden under your mug & take a drink.This will divert attention away from any possibility of cheating.... ..
