Welcome to Billy's Bucket, a site for all widows and widowers  but especially for those of us who lost a beloved partner at a young age.

After the initial shock  began to wear off, I found comfort in doing things Bill would have done....for instance, he worked on F14s during Viet Nam, and airplanes were one of the great loves of his life.  I was fortunate enough to find a neighbor who is a flight instructor for the U.S. Navy, and who was kind enough to take Bill's ashes up for a final flight. (Thank you, Rigel!)

Be patient with me while I build this site......I want to turn it into a place where all of us can come and share our laughter and tears as we struggle through redefining ourselves and rebuilding our lives....while being a credit to the memories of those who have gone before us.
