The hall which was built in 1967 is situated in Gaddesden Turn adjoining the village green and is used by various organisations from the village and elsewhere for meetings and a variety of other activities. It provides an ideal venue for family parties.
The Village Hall Committee which manages the hall aims to hold two events each year. These provide a community activity in the village as well as raising money which assists with the upkeep of the building.
General information
Size The main hall is 13.5m x 8m plus the raised stage area which is 2.75m x 8m. In addition there is a small meeting room. The main hall has recently been fitted with a new sprung wooden floor.
Capacity Approximately 90
Access The hall is accessible to wheelchair users and has a loop system for users of hearing aids.
Car Parking There is a hard surface car park adjoining the hall.
Facilities There is a kitchen with serving hatch into the main hall. Equipment includes a cooker, refrigerator and hot cupboard. Crockery is available for hire.
