APRIL 2013

Somehow the text for April's activities was lost!
It was a fairly quiet month, waiting for Spring to arrive in England, with a week at the house in Britanny before Bibhas headed back to Cyprus for a couple of months. He has committed to spend 6 months of this year supporting the activities of the Cyprus Baha'ís.
We attended a couple of Water Aid activities, including a well-attended Concert at Charterhouse School. Carolyn took on a couple more shifts at Farncombe & Godalming Phyllis Tuckwell shops as well as her weekly stint in Guildford. Two of our friends, Oluf Lalau & Pearl Boyett spent their final days at the Hospice in Farnham...
Carolyn attended a very enjoyable event at the Shah Jehan Mosque 'Doing God Together' with various Interfaith groups. The current Imam is very keen on Interfaith activities and often hosts such gatherings - his wife is the Faith Links Advisor for the Bishop of Guildford.
As Bahá'ís we have special affection for the Shah Jahan Mosque as 'Abdu'l-Baha spoke there in January 1913.
