Caen Memorial Exhibition and Gardens
June and July were quite busy months, with lots of visits from friends from home and away, Interfaith and Water Aid activities and Guildford & Godalming events. Also a week in France, stopping in Caen overnight to visit the Memorial Museum which was very impressive and thought-provoking in this Anniversary year of the start of WW1 and the senseless death of Carolyn's grandfather and so many other young conscripts... The day after our return we attended the 1st birthday celebrations of little Tristran, the grandson of two sets of friends!
