From Kilmorack Gallery……
“This week we had a delivery of seven new works by Lotte Glob. Now in her eighties, Lotte's power only seems to increase. Here we have classic Globs - rockpools, rockeyes and lochan plates.
Also on show in the gallery are Janette Kerr's raging sea paintings and Carolynda Macdonald's beautiful and mysterious 'Hidden Gardens' exhibition. Both these exhibitions end on the 17th May.

Major milestone for local cheese maker
It has been a busy year so far for Barry Graham from Orkney-based Burnside Cheese. Not only has he been keeping up with demand for his own range of farmhouse cheeses, he’s also found time to bring back a popular range that fell out of production last year. Two of the three Wilsons of Westray cheeses are now back on shelves in Orkney thanks to Barry, who has added the much-loved local delicacies to his own range, expanding his business and production area at the same time.
