I don’t know what it is, but it’s jolly….
We’re lucky to have a garden in the middle of the hospital – very cheery after a check-up.
Even at this time of year there’s Rosemary, Lavender and Curry plant to rub gently and inhale.
In the foyer of the hospital – a salutary lesson about the sugar content of soft drinks…
The chart shows the maximum advisable amount of sugar per adult per day – comparing that chart to what’s in a soft drink, is gob-smacking.
Turn on a tap and save your teeth - and some money!
What Price Science?.....
I was wittering at Mike……
Trump is firing a lot of scientists – they will then have to either live off their savings, or claim Welfare. They will be drawing off the economy instead of adding to it. And - where will they go if they want/need to find another job? I shouldn’t imagine they’d want to go to China or Russia - the other nations with big science projects happening. And, if they did – all that expertise going China & Russia????!!!
Where else is there? Maybe Germany? Sure as hell not Britain.
I was wondering – will Australia emerge to become another big player on the world stage? Tho’ Australia mostly appears to have the sense to just go along – being Australia.
And….NASA was something America could be proud of – I personally don’t agree with humans going out into space…

…….but NASA is/was a by-word of excellence in Science and did produce a lot of useful things as side-effects of their research.
Some of NASA is still being funded, but only what’s considered to be ‘useful’ by the Tump Administration – out goes anything to do with the environment.
He, or his Masters, are steadily weakening America, at every level.
