Gabrielle Goliath / Personal Accounts

Guadalupe Maravilla / Piedras de Fuego (Fire Stones)

Until 15 February 2025

The first solo exhibitions in the UK by Gabrielle Goliath and Guadalupe Maravilla are now open at Talbot Rice Gallery.

In the immersive and deeply affecting Personal Accounts, Gabrielle Goliath addresses the global normativity of patriarchal violence, working in close collaboration with survivors and allies on Johannesburg, Tunisia, Oslo, Milan, Stelllenbosch and now Edinburgh.

Bringing together a remarkable personal journey and teachings from healers around the world, Guadalupe Maravilla reframes our iconic Georgian Gallery, the former natural history museum of the University, as a place for healing, regeneration and restoration.
