Can you believe we're into the final month of our current exhibition, El Anatsui / Scottish Mission Book Depot Keta?! August was an extremely busy month at the gallery and we've got plenty more events throughout September, offering the chance for one last look or a first visit before the exhibition closes. With the return of our hugely popular Friday Tours, another BSL tour and Sensory Morning for those who missed the last ones, there's something for everybody!

Built around a theme of the "visible yet invisible", Doctoral Researcher Francisca Anita Adom-Opare's tour will focus on the politics of inclusive development.

Focusing on mental health, this week's Friday Tour will see Angus MacBeth explore El Anatsui's work as a metaphor for clinical psychology.

In this short tour, Victoria Ogoegbunam Okoye, a Lecturer in Black Geographies, will take us from a critical history of Old College to ideas about African being (ontology).

This week Paul Nugent will consider international borderlands, the production and consumption of alcohol and contemporary political relationships to the idea of nationhood.

British Sign Language (BSL) Tour

Join us for a deaf-led tour in British Sign Language hosted by Trudi Collier. Explore the works of El Anatsui, exchange and share your ideas.”
