In The Garden….

I thought they were Greenfinches – they turned out to be Siskins – a ‘new’ bird in our garden…

The Dunnocks were on the terrace again – Mrs. D. ruffling her tail-feathers provocatively at Mr. D, observing from the bushes….

Put me in mind of …

…the dance is exactly what Mrs. D was doing!

From The RSPB….

Help us to restore nature now

Nature is in crisis, but its cries are struggling to be heard. It’s time for us to raise the roof – get ready for the Restore Nature Now march.

On 22 June we’ll be taking to the streets of London with a great gathering of thousands united behind one simple message – Restore Nature Now. The family-friendly march will see nature, wildlife and climate groups and campaigners come together to call for all political parties to take urgent action to restore nature and tackle climate change in the UK.

In this General Election year, we hope this will be the biggest-ever march for nature, celebrating our amazing wildlife while giving it a voice at this critical time. Join us and be the change you'd like to see.

 Get involved

On Hearing News

My dear, I’m so sorry to hear!

I hope it’s no worse than I fear.

I knew someone like you –

She died of it, too!

Best Wishes and Happy New Year!
