A Whole New Angle On Re-cycling!....
On his Facebook page, a friend made a joking reference to Ann Summers. I wasn’t sure if I remembered rightly who Ann Summers is, so I ‘Googled’ and was presented with, not only Ann Summers, but also an on-line company which makes what they refer to as ’Vegan sex toys’….

I can imagine someone thinking….. ‘I’d like to get a vibrator…..but I just can’t get to the shops’.
Some of the items on offer are mind-boggling – not to mention eye-watering!
But – it is another way of re-cycling plastic and so – A GOOD THING.
I then realized what I've let myself in for with sites that have adverts in them! I mentioned this to my friend, who said…..
“Yes, you’ve just vanished down another rabbit hole.“
He’s right – I’m like Alice in Wonderland when it comes to t’Internet and Social Media – wandering about, opening doors that I shouldn’t and getting into trouble.
I’m also reminded of two dildo stories (!) ……
First – years ago Mike and I and Ben-The-Dog were walking down to the marshes near where we lived in Suffolk, when we saw a huge bright orange rubber dildo lodged in the branches of a tree by the path – and I mean HUGE!
Farther along the path, there was a pair of red knickers hanging from a bush. What was the story there?
The other tale was told to us by the landlady of The Belgrave Arms in Helmsdale. They were having some work done on one of the bedrooms and under the floorboards they found a vibrator – an old one - she said they thought it dated from maybe the 1950’s or 60’s. Again, what was the story? Why was it hidden – then left there?....
