Orkney Solstice Carol 2023…
‘Tis the season to be dismal
Fa la la la la la la la
Stay inside – weather’s abysmal
Fa la la la la la la la
It’s atrocious – wind’s ferocious
Fa la la fa la la la la la la
Rain keeps pouring – days get boring
Fa la la fa la la la la la la
Wearing long-johns – sun seems long gone
Fa la la la la la la la
It’s mid-day but lights are all on
Fa la la la la la la la
Just have to lump it – let’s eat crumpets
Fa la la fa la la la la la la
But soon the days will start to lengthen
So…Fa la la la la la la laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

A little bit of grated cheese.
Heat the oven to 180° C.
Cook the macaroni.
Peel & chop the garlic and mushrooms. Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry them in it.
Crumble the stock cube into ¼ pint of water and pour this over the fried veg. then add the passata, Quorn mince, olives and herbs and spices.
Check the seasoning and add salt & pepper if wanted.
