Mike’s Passport ran out – so he applied for a new one. It arrived yesterday morning and …it’s black. So, it was all worthwhile – Brexit and all it entails – all worthwhile, to have a different coloured passport – that’ll show Johnny Foreigner that Britain Means Business!
And the irony of the choice of colour, considering the reason behind some folks choosing Brexit, does not escape us.
Years ago my friend’s brother made a documentary about the National Front – he told me that one of their chants was ‘There ain’t no black in the Union Jack’. I remember saying that I hadn’t noticed many blue people walking about.
Ne’er mind – Mike will put the passport in his purple ‘Scottish‘ passport cover…….
