Betelgeuse…

Fraiku: Supernova

I dream of two suns
and four shadows as we waltz
along the canal

(for Betelgeuse, may you explode soon)

Schrodinger’s Betelgeuse…

“Theoretically it probably hasn’t, but theoretically it could have exploded and we wouldn’t know.”

Say the name three times, and you never know what might happen…

Kilmorack Gallery News….

“It’s going to be an exciting summer here at Kilmorack Gallery, with work by some of the finest artists around arriving most weeks. We also have a solo exhibition of work by Helen Denerley in August which is one to look out for. This coming week (from Monday 29th May) we have new work by Colin Brown, Beth Robertson Fiddes and Adrian Wiszniewski.

Colin Brown's latest paintings collage worlds together. The paintings of an eighteenth-century botanical artist, images scraped from walls in Berlin and present-day icons, come together in these popping Pop images.

Adrian Wiszniewski is one of the most active of the Glasgow Boys of the 1980s. His ambitious work creates dream-like images that take us through the looking glass and into a world that is just a rabbit hole away.

Beth Robertson Fiddes landscapes are cinematic, in widescreen and with a brilliant soundtrack. They take you to the epic unseen moments she finds in the sublime northwest.

A Hoot….

On the way to Skaill Bay we pulled up at a junction behind this mini-bus – the Jeremy Clarkson reference raised a smile….

In my view - Jeremy Clarkson shouldn’t be allowed….
