Driving through the snow
no bells jingling
from my two-door
little hybrid
Rushing to get home
before the last candle is lit
spin the clay top
hoping for chocolate geld
But knowing we adult children
will share the holiday spirit
of latkes and family
and too many thank you notes
to be written
before the new year
