News reached us last month that Bob Andrews G1JZJ is an SK.
Kevin GW4WOV, BARTG 3285, wrote to us   "I’m saddened to inform you of the passing of former committee member and GB2ATG news editor Robert (Bob) Andrews G1JZJ who sadly passed away on the 1st of February this year aged 63".

Kevin also wrote that Bob and he were great friends and   "mechanical RTTY buffs who both enjoyed transmitting the GB2ATG news on 2m and myself on 80m back in the mid 1980s."

I met Bob mostly at BARTG committee meetings and I suspect that he was also one of the small group of volunteers that made our rallies happen. He was a very pleasant chap and a welcome member of our committee.
