Thanks for an informative site with some great helmets.
My main collection is based around my Father's helmets he gave me during his time with the London Fire Brigade, including the 1st helmet he was issued in the Middlesex Fire Brigade; its still got its MFB badge.
I've noticed the LFB now have the Galena helmet with a resin badge on the front; wonder if I can get one of those!!

Hi Barrie, what a fab site with great photos and info. I am a private collector and currently have every LFB helmet from the 1970's (Black Cromwell County) until the F600 (HISL). I am currently trying to get info about the latest MSA Gallet F1 model used by LFB and notice very few photos of them exist online at this time. I am looking to source some BAA Airport helmets for the next expansion phase but can only find a Cromwell Fire Pro (Late 80's or Early 90's) and no others from the era 1977 +/- until present. Do you know of anyone who might have some to sell??? I believe they used...
