Thank you for visiting my site. My name is Barrie Green and I live in Cheshire (U.K.)   I am a former firefighter and am still employed in an non-operational capacity by Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service. I have has an interest in the fire service since I was a young boy and more recently fire service history.

I started collecting fire service memorabillia and particularly helmets and now have a collection of more that 100 from all over the world.

I am more than happy to display my collection at fire station open days etc and also give talks on fire service history to groups and organisation in the North West UK. I do this completely without charge (although donations to the Fire Fighters Charity are always welcome.)

I am a member of Cheshire F&RS Historical Society, we rally and display several vintage fire appliances.
