The Club officially came to life today with the launch of the first 2 teams at U9 and U14 for the 2007/8 season. Club Secretary Simon Patterson said "This is an exciting day for youth football in Stevenage. The Club will be based on the priciples of fair play, player enjoyment and safety and hopefully all our players will go on to enjoy long careers with Barmond Utd."

The launch included the announcement of the kit to be worn by the Club, which will be white shirts, black shorts and white socks. The change kit will be a red shirt, black shorts and white socks while the goalkeeper will wear silver shirt, black shorts and black socks.
