2016

Yet again a very busy year, working alongside Dunoon Hospital where all staff have been receiving treatments through their benevolent fund, completed my pregnancy massage training which has been very successful.  I will be carrying out my Thai body massage level one in May and hopefully level two in November and also Myofacial release course.  These courses will be again with a gateway training who won best training school holistic for the second year in a row through the Guild awards.  I however, sadly will no longer be training in Paisley with Ellen Keir, who I know has not been keeping too well, however, I will be travelling through to Falkirk and will carry out the Course will Maureen Bonnar who I have been told is and excellent trainer roll on May and June.

As always I do my upmost to accommodate all my client and new clients and my main supplier is still naturally thinking based in England, and have today ordered and range from songbird which I believe blended alongside the essential oils and carrier is more economical and clients love this.  

Once again Claire McCallum and myself are teaming up with group bookings and already have been busy at Culzean House Ardentinny and Ormidale Estate.  Roll on yet another busy year thanking everyone of my clients and family for their continued support 😍😍

 

 

 

2015

 

Last year brought yet again another very busy time for Back to Backs and I am sure will see notice a lack of updates on my web page.  This year is already taking shapenand is proving to be just as busy, I am looking to complete another course in the near future and will update everyone on completion.  I no longer offer the Hot towel shave as their is an excellent barber in Argyll Street, who offers this service and is available seven days a week.

VISITED OLD KILMUN, ORMIDALE, ARDKINGLASS ESTATE, LEISURE CENTRE, LOGHOILHEAD AND CASTLE LACHLAN WEDDING EXHIBITIONS, SPONSERING LOCAL CHARITIES AND A LITTLE TIME FOR TRAINING ON HOT STONE MASSAGE.  ONCE AGAIN I HAVE BEEN ASKED TO CARRY OUT TREATMENTS ON NHS STAFF, DUNOON AND AS ALWAYS LOTS OF WORK WITH CLAIRE MCCALLUM WHO HAS NOW BEEN UP AT HUNTER'S QUAY HOLIDAY VILLAGE SINCE FEBRUARY.  STILL A BUSY NEXT FEW MONTHS FOR BOTH CLAIRE AND MYSELF WITH MORE VISITS TO CULZEAN HOUSE AND A NEW VENUE OF HIGHGATE LODGE, ONCE AGAIN WE GET A GLIMPSE INTO SOME OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL LETTING PROPERTIES IN COWAL.

 

FEBRUARY 2012

 

I have introduced my new e voucher system which means you can purchase a voucher from the website, this is not automated and may take up to two hours until you receive your e voucher, this has proven to be very sucessful and I have been delighted with the response.

Claire has been busy with the introduction of her new holistic and beauty suite at the Hunter's Quay Holiday Village, wishing Claire of Quay Treatments all the very best and offer her continued support and likewise.

 

February has also been very busy I have spent a day working up at Loch Fyne Spa, Inverary, due to shortage of staff, Yvonne was very professional and made me feel very welcome

And Once again back up to Ormidale Estate for another Hen Party what a great day, champagne and strawberries, and the most amazing afternoon tea which we were invited to by all the hens catered by Alison Sykora's team who are now the new resident caterers, food was wonderful.

Good luck to Pauline and her husband to be on the 21st April, 2012.  

Finishing off our day cementing our ties at ormidale and having a chat with caretaker Helen.

 We definatly have a great job.

Off to a Bang busy busy busy.... Claire and myself back to Ormidale Estate for a 40th birthday surprise and what a surprise, the poor birthday girl was rather fragile, however, feeling lots better after her papering and ready for the champagne lunch, again another great day out at Ormidale.

HOLISTIC HOT TOWEL SHAVE

On the 21st of November, I attended the Scottish School of Barbering to carry out training for the Hot Towel Shave.  After watching the demonstrations and questions and answers we were all ready to be set on the public.  Thankfully, I had a gentlman who was really not too difficult to shave.  Since then I have been carrying out case studies, finding out whats wrong and whats wright, the problem being all mens beards are very different as as their skins.  On consulting a barber in Paisley known as "Paul the Barber", who generously gave me advise in abundence I am now ready to sell the shave to the general public.  Thanks to all my test cases and for the positive feedback I received from them and also to Paul the Barber from Paisley.

 

NOVEMBER, 2011

 

 Claire and myself were back to Culzean House, Ardentinny for the second year in a row to inhance Elaine Hunter and her party of lovely ladies with treatments galore.  Again a long day, but thanks to Elaine and all her party we both had a great day and know they also did as they have booked for a third year in a row both Culzean House and Claire & myself.  Thanks ladies and see you all next year.

COMING AT THE END OF SEPTEMBER

THE INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE TREATMENT WILL BE AVAILABLE AS OF THE END OF SEPEMBER, WHEN I WILL BE ATTENDING A ONE DAY SESSION WITH THE TRAINING ORGANISATION GATEWAY TRAINING TUTOR ELLEN KIERR, PAISLEY.  ELLEN IS ALSO A LECTURER AT THE REID KERR COLLEGE IN PAISLEY, THIS QUALIFICATION IS RECOGNISED BY THE GUILD OF HOLISTIC THERAPISTS OF WHICH I AM INSURED AND A MEMBER.  I WILL UPDATE QUALIFICATIONS SERVICES AND PRICES ON COMPLETION.

Claire and myself were invited back to Culzean House, Ardentinny to carry out treatments for a Hen Party Week by Lisa who organised the event.  Although the weather was at its worst they endured rain and high winds and had a great time at Quadmania and the Clay pigeon shooting.  Both Claire and myself wish the Bride to be Sarah and future Mrs Sarah all the very best.  Thank you Lisa and party for a great day and we also wish you all the best for your wedding next year. AUGUST, 2011

Claire myself and Nicky took a trip back to Ormidale Estate for yet another group of lovely ladies, the weather was glorious and the kids where having a blast at the swimming pool and large grounds for them to play, while the ladies enjoyed their play time retreat  where Claire and myself carried out treatments in the garden rooms and Nicky was in the Old Barn fileing polishing and buffing.  All the ladies had a great day and thanks to Clare Peddie for the booking and are sure they enjoyed the evening meal which was prepared for them and the kids enjoyed the rest of the week, especially the day out on the Waverly.

 

APRIL, MAY & JUNE 2011

Not much to report on the news front just busy busy busy, still trying to fit in more training for new treatments hopefully I will manage at least one new course before the end of the year, I will update as soon as I have further information, but the Indian Head Massage is definately on the agenda.

 

MARCH 2011

March 26th I travelled over to Glendaruael, Ormidale House, The Old Barn, stunning, to help Claire with a hen party.  Nicky also was on site to add her touch of Acrylic and Minx nails glamour.  Claire was busy waxing tanning and extending eyelashes galour and I carried out facials.  Had a great day and we all wish the very best of luck to Julie the Bride to Be.

THE NATURAL FACE LIFT IS NOW AVAILABLE

On Sunday the 27th of February I went to Paisley to carry out my Diploma training for The Natural Face Lift, with Gateway  Workshops.  Ellen Kier, the Tutor for the day, who is also a Lecturer at Reid Kerr College, Paisley,  made all six therapists feel relaxed and welcome.  The day went in very quickly and I have carried out case studies on three of my regular clients who have generously given me their time to study the results.  All three clients are female of different age groups, all have enjoyed the treatment very much and were very thirsty. Although after the first session the results were not vast all confirmed this treatment was good value for money.  Watch this space for the next update which will be posted next week. 14th March, 2011.

 Week 2 into the case studies of my lovely ladies.  After 20 minutes our ladies skin has become pink, plump & very healthy looking.  Again all three have confirmed that their skin has felt soft and one ladies colleagues thought her skin just looked really nice, so much so that they have already confirmed they would like to make a booking.

 Week three, showed the skin becoming very pink and plump after only 10 minutes into the massage and still all ladies have confirmed they have been very relaxed and slept well after the treatment.

Week four into the case study, all ladies confirmed they had noticed a difference to the tone and brightness of their skin.  Their skin had remained soft.  One of my ladies skin around the eyes and upper cheeks was noticeably less puffy than had been on her first visit.
