Tubber Brough won the Purple Helmet with a score of Nett 59 playing off a handicap of 31.

Other notable prizewinners were Nipper Stockan who won the Hamlet Trophy for the highest gross score with a 143. Pete McKinlay won the best gross for the fourth time with a record 68 and Mark Gildea won the best exile with a nett 69 playing off a 14 handicap. Calvin Reid, Gary Sinclair and Tubber were the best team.

At the start of the day a cheque for £300 was presented to Mark Gildea to go towards Sheryl's Orphan Childrens Home, a charity that Mark's family have been heavily involved with.

The Committee also announced that Dial-a-bus would benefit from the 2010 raffle. A presentation will be made shortly so watch here for more details.

We also did a ballot to see where the ABC members would like to play next year and who they would like to invite as virgins. As yet the ballot box remains sealed but it will be opened in the near future and all will be revealed in due course!!
