The Auld Boy's Championship took place on the 10th September 2005 on a beautiful Saturday afternoon at the Orkney Golf Club for what was to be the first and only time!

Twenty three took part and once the scorecards had been checked it was no surprise that Pete McKinlay was the winner with a 69 gross, 65 nett. Ray Shearer won the prize for the most shots with 175.
