A prolific junior golfer and three time winner of the Junior 18 hole Championship in 1981 (pictured right), 1982 & 1983, former junior legend Paul has since failed to reach the 'dizzy' heights in the senior ranks that his early potential promised. He has also failed to recapture that junior success at the ABC, despite his very serious efforts to land the gross trophy since he made his first appearance in 2007.

 

Kempy is a fine all round sportsman and the finest compliment we can pay him is he is almost as good as Messrs Moar and Mulraine! Testament to that is the fact that along with his partner Deek, they have won the Annual Pub Olympics twice in the last five years.

The fact that Kempy is still able to compete at that level is obviously down to his rigorous health and fitness regime over the years!!

 

 

On turning forty Kempy confirmed the onset of his mid-life crisis by getting a 'big' tattoo on his shoulder.
