  1. This was my first commission, a colleague had it made for her friend  for Christmas. It is of the village green in Aboyne and measures 610mm x 508mm. I had two small pictures to work from and the preferred one was taken on a very grey day. To create a better effect i combined it with the second picture with much brighter light conditions.
  2. This was the result of a day trip to the Wildlife Park on the Black Isle, my husband took loads of photos and i combined two. The atmospheric background was created by layering two different  colours. This was on display at the Storehouse of Fowlis near Evanton, measured 400mm x 400mm and recently sold for £75.3.     A sunny Sunday afternoon walk around Auldearn near the Boath House created the inspiration for thIs one. Again this is currently on display at the Storehouse. Same dimensions as the deer picture and on sale at the same price. Sorry, now sold.    4.     This is a combination of a couple of photos taken on Cromarty Firth near the bridge, a fabulous place for seal watching. On a hot summers day with low tide you can see as many as 30 of them basking in the sunshine! As per painting 2 and 3 it is the same dimensions, price and currently displayed at the Storehouse.                    5. Ceefer was asleep on the landing at home so i took the opportunity to take a few photos. In the sunshine her fur really does shine blue!      6. We stayed at a holiday cottage up in Lairg a few years ago which overlooked the town and the dam in the distance. The sunset was fabulous as it reflected perfectly in the two pools of water. This measures 610mm x 508mm and is available to purchase for £150.

7. This was a difficult commission. The client requested as a suprise present for his wife a picture of their pets interracting in an outdoor environment with full length poses. To create the interraction of the dogs i had to take two different head and body poses for the dog on the right and combine them. To create the cat pose required i used one of my cats for inspiration and just thickened the body to look more like their cat. Apparently the dogs were fascinated by ducks, so to add an extra dimension to the painting i placed a duck pond in the background.
