WORK GUARANTEE
The ECA Guarantee of Work Scheme automatically applies to Registered Members’ work, subject to terms and conditions. It covers completed contracts in any calendar year up to a value of £50,000 (including VAT) and £100,000 (Including VAT) for multiple contracts for the same customer.
The Guarantee of Work Scheme is Part P and TrustMark compliant and replaced the ECA Warranty on 1st January 2009. Works guaranteed under the ECA Warranty will still be acknowledged for a period of six years, to December 2014.
Full details of the Guarantee, including how customers can make a claim, can be found here. This document can be downloaded and given to customers as proof of the Guarantee’s applicability. Although unnecessary, Registered Members can obtain a Guarantee certificate by contacting the commercial, contracts and legal team.
