initial design proposal available for comment
At last.....an initial design proposal for the Glasgow Labyrinth.
This design is a variation of the 7-circuit classical labyrinth that also incorporates astronomically aligned stones, and stones marking the cardinal directions. The paths are designed to be wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs and the spaces between the paths would be planted as a sensory garden. The ring separating circuits 3 and 4 is designed wider than the rest to accommodate the cardinal stones, which I think will also have the effect of enhancing the sense of moving inwards as the centre is approached. Leave your feedback on this design here.
