Beware - TV Shopping Channels
There are several TV Shopping Channels. These channels often give lengthy demonstrations on various products.
Sometimes there are special offers and lower prices - but not always, as explained below.
Sometimes the cost of a product is offered at a higher price, presumably to cover the cost of advertising on the shopping channel.
A recent demonstration advert on one shopping channel gave the price of a vacuum cleaner as £349.95 whereas the price on their regular Channel 5 advert, and on their website, is given as £299.98.
It is therefore wise to check around before you buy, in other words, avoid impulse buying.
