Published by Harper Collins, this book was inspired by a chance encounter with a small falcon called a merlin. This seemingly insignificant incident led to an idea that perhaps birds could communicate with us in unexpected ways. The book explores the myths and folklore about birds from all around the world, as well as giving detailed explanations about augury (the art of understanding what birds might be telling us) and drawing parallels between the characteristics of birds as they apply to astrology and alchemy.
