A new sports facility has been opened at Brora Primary School where the children have literally been climbing the walls to have a go. ‘The small climbing wall is providing a new activity at breaks and lunchtimes’, said Dawn Mackenzie, acting head teacher ‘and the children seem to really love the challenge of getting from one end to the other without falling off. It’s great for building up strength and agility as well as being good fun and adding another sport to what we already offer our pupils. It has also done a very good job of making better use of an old bike shed!’
‘We’re all really grateful to the Friends of Brora Primary School and funding from Kilbraur Wind Farm Community Benefit Trust Fund who all worked hard at making sure this project became a reality.’
