Aberdeen Deeside Rotary Club was a major supporter of KidsOut on Wednesday 13 June 2012 at Craibstone, Aberdeen.

On Wednesday 13th June 2012 the annual Aberdeen Area KidsOut day was again held at the SAC at Craibstone. There were 33 schools with around 540 children at KidsOut, Aberdeen, and a similar number of Teachers and School/Rotarian helpers.

As in previous years, the event was very popular with the Children, and fortunately the weather was kind to us.

The children enjoyed having their faces painted, pony rides, climbing wall, bouncy castles, puppets, magicians, miniature steam engine rides, a fire engine, small animals and many more fun things. On arrival the children were each given a little goodie bag, and then at lunchtime ate a packed lunch and a tub of ice-cream.

KidsOut Aberdeen is organised by Rotarians from 17 local Rotary Clubs, together with other helpers, so that the children have a wonderful time.

KidsOut events are also held in other locations around our district including: Inverness, Dundee, Stirling, Dunfermline, Coupar, Glenrothes, Leven, Perth Kinnoul, Kirkclady, East Fife,   etc
