DEESIDE’S GOT TALENT

The dilemma facing the Rotary Club of Aberdeen Deeside was who would be the star attraction at the annual Christmas party.

Susan Boyle was already booked and Madonna was not regarded as appropriate. This predicament was soon resolved when Past President Anne Russell, wearing her impresario hat, encouraged, cajoled and coerced ten members into forming a multi talented choir driven by a desire to display natural talents hitherto hidden.

Although so far denied a recording contract, the group entertained fellow members with a wide range of festive songs and carols topped by the surprise appearance of the “Good Fairy” seen above. National recognition will surely follow this promising start!
