Terms & Conditions

At Abbey Ironing we wish to foster a great working relationship with our customers, with this in mind these are the terms and conditions of service.

 

• Payment of your ironing is required, upon collection/delivery, by cash. 
• To keep our costs as low as possible we do not supply hangers for your ironing. If you require clothes to hung up on return please provide enough hangers.  Items that are too small or bedding, etc will be flat packed.
• Unless otherwise agreed, all ironing will be carried out following the instructions on the label, where it is legible.
• We advise all customers to inspect their returned ironing upon delivery. If there are any items that do not meet your standards then please call so that we can collect the items and have them re-ironed for you.
• Any damaged items collected will be returned un-ironed to avoid any discrepancies.
• Any losses or damages must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
• In the unlikely event of loss or damage, we will compensate up to a maximum of £30 per item.
• Minimum collection weight of 10lbs
• We reserve the right not to iron certain items, such as damaged, dirty or shiny items. We do not iron underwear or handkerchiefs. 
• We reserve the right to make an additional delivery/collection charge of £1.00 if bookings are not kept.
• Prices correct from April 2016 and are subject to change/review yearly.
