Beaches

Our own Canal D'amour is just a couple of minutes walk away, boasting stunning clifflines and coved beaches. And of course, the famous canal itself - a cave which can be swam through (at your own risk). Legend states that he who swims through the canal will find true love!

Sunset beach, which is approximately 45 minutes walk away, speaks for itself! To enjoy a cold drink at the cliff top chill out bar and watch the sunset is the perfect way to unwind and forget the stresses of home!

Sidari Beach, again just a couple of minutes walk from us, is perfect for families with young children. The beach is wide and flat and the water shallow, with no deep shelves. You will find 2 beach bars, watersports and pedalo hire. Or why not hire a boat for half a day and go off to one of the many secluded inlets, only accessable by water........

Apotripiti Beach is another nearby small beach, usually quieter than the others.  

Canal D'amour

On the road running through the canal d'amour area you can find restaurants ranging from snack bars to traditional tavernas and even British fish and chips! Bars with quiz nights, pool tables and bingo. Car hire and plenty of minimarkets. You will also find our own wood workshop.

Sidari Centre

About 10-15 minutes walk away along a well lit road. Sidari centre is home to many bars with entertainment ranging from magicians to cabaret and tribute artists. Multiple restaurants including Mexican, Chinese, Indian, American, fast food and traditional Greek. Souvenir shops and minimarkets are plentiful here, too. For the night owls, there are 2 nightclubs, and bars here also stay open until sunrise. There is also a weekly foam party - dont worry, you can visit the 24hr fast food outlet before heading back to your apartment!

Sidari also offers a pharmacy, several doctors surgerys, a dentist, hairdressers, tattoo parlour, jewellers shops, and a small waterpark.

Days out

You will find shops around Sidari selling day trips;

Kassiopi is a picturesque fishing village on the north east coast, with some of the best views of the beautiful Albanian mountains.

Corfu Town is great for history lovers, and those who like to shop! This is your chance to really mingle with the locals - why not do as they do and sip an iced coffee in the upmarket Liston area, overlooking Greece's ONLY cricket pitch? You can book a coach trip or just hop on the local bus!

Boat BBQ is the ideal fun family day.

The Greek Mainland is so close its a shame not to visit! Another historical trip full of amazing Greek myths and legends.

Albania, with its stunning mountains just across the water from Sidari is definately not to be missed! Evidence of its upcoming tourism is already evident, but has not yet spoiled the amazing landscape. Ancient Butrint is a world heritage site, make sure your trip includes this.

Aqualand is Corfu's biggest waterpark, it's unmissable! The kamikaze 90degree slide is not for the faint hearted! The huge wave pool and lazy river are sure crowd pleasers, and there are plenty of sunbeds amongst the trees for those who prefer dry land! Its not cheap, but its well worth it!
