Well summer has been great in Uist with rock-splitting hot weather for a change! There's no place like it when it is like this, a bit like the Bahamas but better crack!

I was out in Nice in France recently playing at the wedding of Catherine Beaton and Dirk Dominick. Congratulations to you both and safe travelling!

Talking about weddings, also celebrated the marriage of Julie Fowlis and Eamon Doorley in Strathpeffer recently, Durachdan dhuibh le cheile, Eamon agus Julie.

Ceolas is looming and it looks like the numbers are going to be the highest yet.. Archie  MacAllisters album just came out..well done Archie! Griogair Lawrie's album is being launched at Ceolas. New Daimh album imminent!
