Mystery at Rhos - body found after garage fire
Police are investigating after a man's body was found in a domestic garage after a fire.
Emergency services were called to Delffordd in the Rhos area of the Swansea Valley in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Neighbours said they were woken by what they described as 'quite a fierce fire' and thought they might be evacuated.
A man's body was subsequently found at the scene at around 3am and police are now investigating the cause of his death as well as the fire.
Police are hoping to speak to anyone who saw three men who arrived in the Delffordd area from Cardiff by taxi the same morning.
A spokeswoman for South Wales Police said: "Officers were called to Deffordd in Rhos at around 3am on Sunday, March 10, following reports of a body being found in a garage fire.
"A man was found deceased at the scene and an investigation is now underway in relation to the cause of the fire and his death.
It is reported that the garage is at the rear of a bungalow which was not occupied at the time of the fire. The cause of death has yet to be established.
