The Neath Parrot looks at the life of pet birds

It's said that birds are the most popular household pets after cats and dogs.

A parrot can often outlive its owner, living to a ripe old age of around 70 to 80 years.  Of course alot depends on their diet and the way they are looked after.

It is intersting to know that Cllr Annette Wingrave, who covers the Cadoxton ward of NPT Council, has three parrots, as reported last month.
