Free Christmas 2019 parking offer for Port Talbot, Neath and Pontardawe
Neath Port Talbot Council will be offering free Christmas period parking in Neath, Port Talbot and Pontardawe pay and display car parks from Saturday, December 14th, 2019 to Tuesday, January 1st 2020 (both days inclusive).

Comment There is no doubt about it, charging for car parking in towns is driving people to shop out of town where parking is free. It makes one wonder why it can't be free all year round. Any town doing this will attract more shoppers and the community will thrive.
If done, a town would stand out from the rest. Councils should put need before greed. It would certainly help the current high street and its problems.
